Do I play video games at home ??

     Why, yes!  I enjoy video games while I am home.  I play my X-Box 360 at home frequently, and I enjoy sport games, action games, role playing games, and many more genres of gaming.  This influences my game quite a bit, but I am more influenced by the games that are played on the computer.


     In spare time, or out of boredom, I often find myself playing new games on the internet.  Though there are many types of games, I always find myself talking of how to make them better, or more user friendly.  I cannot wait until we eventually progress through our training and make our game.


     Playing to learn is also a great factor of my knowledge of game design.  We seem to do this a lot in Globaloria, and we seem to enjoy it very much.  Some see this as a "free" day, but I take it more as a time to explore the games and designs that have been layed before me.

Something New I Have Learned in Globaloria...

     Something new I have learned in globaloria is that if I stick with this program, I can be an intern next year.  I can also get paid for being an intern.  I am unsure of the payment, but I know that it provides good money.

     I have reviewed my five year plan, and I requested this class again.  If I can make it through this year of globaloria, Mrs. Ellis will request me again.  We have had some problems, but I have sort of straitened up in my behavior.

     I hope to take this class again, because I love the feeling of making money just by coming to school.  I know it sounds kind of funny, but can you imagine how much money you could save up like that...

The Oreo Bruthas

     I am in a group with my partner, who is also named Marcus, and our group name is "The Oreo Bruthas".  We are planning to make a game called Call of Nature: Apocalypse.  You destroy zombies through every level, then the leftover residue of the zombies is collected and thrown away in a trashcan in the end to go to the next level.  Fun facts on pollution will be shown on the end of every level.  I will explain in more detail later, but this is a rough explanation of what it will be...

Game Genres

     The game genre that I think I would enjoy most is strategy.  If I put my mind to it, I think that I could make a good strategy game.  It may take me a while to come up with a plot, but nontheless it would be a game that you would never forget.  Sports seems to be an interesting genre also.  I dont know how I could make an "original" sports game though...

Internet Safety

     Internet Safety is very important.  Anyone who has access to the internet can steal your information.  At times, your school may stress this message to you often, but often times it is not enough.  If someone steals your information, they can learn very personal things about you.  They can also steal your credit info.  This is how sexual predators start out also.  I strongly advise you to be careful as to what you put on myspace, facebook, etc.

     I have never been a victim of such actions, but you never know what could happen.  It happens more than you would think.  KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!  ITS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN TO BE SORRY!!!

Just For Starters...

     This year, I have learned many things that I did not know.  I have also worked with others in starting this program.  All in all, this is a fairly easy class, yet is exciting.  I look forward to this class everyday.  We have a wonderful teacher, and I am among some honorable students.

     I have learned how to start and manage a wiki page.  I have learned how to make a blog.  I have learned to insert different fonts and how to change colors.  I have learned how to ask for assistance when I need it, but I still do not like writing blogs.
